Section Editor: Josh Osbun

Introduction

Ask Your Joint CV Section Colleagues to Help with Research or Surveys

The AANS/CNS Joint Cerebrovascular Section is excited to announce that members can now take advantage of the section’s electronic resources to recruit sites and co-investigators for studies or surveys. Members with studies sponsored by institutions, government, or foundations are invited to submit a call for collaborators through the website and have an eblast sent to all CV section members. The call for collaborators will also be listed on the website for a time specified by the submitting member. At this time, we are not able to provide these services for industry sponsored studies.

ISAT II Survey

The purpose of this study is to assay the community agreement regarding management of ruptured intracranial aneurysms. A portfolio of cases of different ruptured aneurysms and different clinical scenarios has been put together with a number of management choices. Please consider each case as you would in your normal clinical practice. When you are done, email the response back to [email protected] or to [email protected]. Your responses will be kept confidential, but we are collecting a minimum of demographic information in order to compare responses.

The linked survey on the management of perimesencephalic SAH is being conducted by an international group of residents to look at practice variation around the world.
