Annual Meeting

  • The Cerebrovascular Section holds a freestanding Annual Meeting, which is attended by neurosurgeons, neurologists, and interventional neuroradiologists from around the world.This meeting usually precedes the International Stroke Conference, which the Section co-sponsors and controls a major component of the scientific program. The Section also sponsors a number of symposia and poster sessions including several exciting lectures by noted authorities at the AANS and CNS annual meetings.

Patient Education

  • The Cerebrovascular Section provides resources for patients with all types of cerebrovascular diseases, from cerebral aneurysms to arteriovenous malformations to strokes. Resources on treatment options and access to cerebrovascular practitioners to help address their health issues are provided on the CV section website

Advocacy

  • The Cerebrovascular Section counsels the AANS, CNS, AANS/CNS Washington Committee, and American Heart Association in all matters related to Cerebrovascular Surgery. The Section is committed to raising awareness of our subspecialty. Your dues support the following activities:
