CV Section contributes $10.000 to the NREF Charles R. Drake Fund

CV Section is proud to announce that we contributed $10.000 this year to the NREF Charles R. Drake Fund in honor of Charles Drake, MD, FRCS(C).

Dr. Drake was one of the luminaries of vascular neurosurgery whose interests were centered on cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations. He was the first neurosurgeon to demonstrate that posterior circulation aneurysms could be safely treated surgically. For many years he had the largest aneurysm surgery practice in the world. He was a master surgeon, a skilled clinical investigator, an outstanding mentor, and an impeccably honest academician.
